XL Selects Mobinex and M-STARS to Enable Dynamic Mobile Experience

XL’s new On-Device Portal will enable branded and menu-driven access to latest information and services. XL Smile will benefit Mobinex Smartface Platform ® to deliver a compelling user experience and it will increase mobile data revenues while strengthening XL brand.
With an expanding portfolio of over 100 services being offered to over 25 million users, XL wanted to reduce complexity for accessing services encouraging more frequent service usage. Smartface Platform ® powered XL Smile will offer easier access to operator services and premium content by providing subscribers a simplified mobile experience. XL Smile will be downloaded to subscribers’ Symbian S60 and J2ME compatible mobile devices over-the-air (OTA), and will be launched through a quick link in handsets main menu. Utilizing Smartface Platform ®'s extended synchronization capabilities, XL Smile will be updated automatically over-the-air, refreshing the user interface and content for a dynamic user experience.
XL’s subscribers will profit from instant access, relevant information and service updates through XL Smile’s over-the-air portal management. This advanced distribution and management of branded experience maximizes subscriber satisfaction with existing services and will be employed for introducing and promoting new services.
